Australian AI startup co-founders impressed by China's tech momentum
At the 2026 World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum in Xi'an, Australian AI entrepreneurs praised China's rapid tech growth. "It's amazing to collect big data to improve our lives," said Daniela Araujo Lana, co-founder of JobMod AI by RestartUs.
Another co-founder, Gregorio Fernandes Salles, highlighted the forum's value, noting that it offers participants a window into China's progress and global trends. He described China as "an open ocean of opportunity", emphasizing its progress in manufacturing, robotics and AI.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
