WIC establishes Digital and Intelligent Health Working Group
The World Internet Conference officially established the Digital and Intelligent Health Working Group during the Digital and Intelligent Health Forum at the 2026 WIC Digital Silk Road Development Forum, marking a major step forward for long-term international collaboration in digital health.
The working group brings together stakeholders from industry, academia, research and healthcare to build a collaborative platform that supports innovation in medical AI and digital health. It aims to foster cross-disciplinary exchange, encourage cross-border cooperation, and provide sustained organizational and intellectual support for the global digital and intelligent health industry.
The initiative underscores a shared commitment among participants to strengthen international partnerships and advance practical cooperation in emerging health technologies.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
