Latif Ladid: Everyone will have their own digital agent
Latif Ladid, founder and president of the IPv6 Forum, said in an interview during the 2026 World Internet Conference Digital Silk Road Development Forum that in the future, every individual will have their own digital agent — like a virtual sibling — to support them in health management, education, and various other aspects of life, providing assistance that we do not have today.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
