
The World Internet Conference (WIC) will host an open day event at Level 1, Towers E&D, Asia Financial Center, Beijing Chaoyang District from 2026 July 14 to 15.

Centered on the theme "Sharing Digital Innovations & Connecting Cultures," the event will feature five dedicated zones: Organizational Achievements, Digital-Intelligent Technology, International Cultural Integration, Digital Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience, and Interactive Experience. Over 80 organizations from 16 countries and regions worldwide will showcase their innovations. At this all-in-one immersive venue, visitors will experience the wonderful charm of integration between digital technology and diverse cultures.
At the Organizational Achievements Zone, visitors can get a comprehensive overview of the WIC, including its development history, membership network and research outcomes, as well as landmark events such as the Wuzhen Summit, Asia-Pacific Summit, Digital Silk Road Development Forum and Cultural Heritage Digitalization Forum. They will learn more about the WIC’s role in advancing multilateral cooperation on global internet governance.
The Digital-Intelligent Technology Zone will bring together more than 30 leading global tech enterprises, displaying cutting-edge internet innovations bridging digital technology and daily life. Test drives of new energy vehicles and interactions with robots will be available on site. In addition, visitors can try out innovative products such as smartphones, AI+AR smart glasses, AI portrait cameras etc.


At the International Cultural Integration Zone, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Nepal, Peru, Venezuela, Ghana, Afghanistan, Barbados and Pakistan will present authentic cuisine, traditional handicrafts and folk music performances for an immersive cross-cultural experience. Visitors who take part in the interactive activities will receive exclusive souvenirs.

The Digital Intangible Cultural Heritage Experience Zone gathers more than 10 major cultural and museum institutions, including the National Museum of China, the Palace Museum, the National Library of China, the China Archaeological Museum, China Publishing Group, the Capital Museum, the China Museum of Traditional Medicine, Henan Museum, Shaanxi History Museum, Xi’an Museum, the Ethnic Costume Museum of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, showcasing digital innovations of cultural heritage. Visitors can tour the Capital Museum’s VR exhibition on American civilizations and witness firsthand how digital technology breathes new life into traditional culture.

The Interactive Experience Zone will be filled with a delightful mix of traditional treats and lifestyle products. Visitors can browse craft stalls featuring exquisite handicrafts, such as Zhang’s Clay Figurines, Jun porcelain, Zhu Bingren bronze art, ancient woodblock printed books and AI models inspired by Quanzhou traditional culture. Visitors can enjoy live Guqin performances, and try rope braiding and sugar painting, experiencing the dynamic interplay between traditional aesthetics and contemporary creativity. Visitors can also grab an ice cream or a cup of tea there, and wrap up the visit in a relaxing mood.

A message station will also be set up at the event, where visitors can scan a QR code to write down their expectations for the WIC international organization. Participants will receive a complimentary gift, and selected messages will be officially preserved in the WIC archives.
