Cross-border e-commerce has flourished in recent years, serving as a key engine for global trade and economic growth while driving an open, inclusive, and mutually beneficial global market. World Internet Conference (WIC), an emerging international organization in the digital field, places great emphasis on cross-border e-commerce as a key area of research.
Since 2024, WIC has conducted two consecutive annual selections of best practice cases in this field and released two editions of World Internet Conference Collection of Cross-Border E-commerce Practice Cases, drawing widespread attention and positive feedback from cross-border e-commerce institutions worldwide. During WIC Wuzhen Summit in November 2025, WIC officially launched the Specialized Committee on E-Commerce, aiming to fostering an open, fair, inclusive, and sustainable platform for e-commerce exchanges and cooperation. Through activities such as thematic discussions, knowledge sharing, and initiative launches, the committee seeks to continuously build international consensus.
To further advance global cross-border e-commerce growth and position it as a benchmark for innovation, WIC is inviting submissions of outstanding practice cases from government agencies, industry organizations, enterprises, and other stakeholders worldwide.
The call focuses on areas including government regulation and service innovation; innovation from platform enterprises, trading enterprises, and service providers; compliance and sustainable development; and international cooperation. This initiative seeks to build a platform for sharing cross-border e-commerce practices, facilitate exchange and knowledge sharing, promote the global dissemination of best practices, and enable all parties to benefit from the progress of cross-border e-commerce in the digital era.
All interested parties are welcome to participate in this call for case submissions. We invite you to share your practical experiences in cross-border e-commerce, based on your business expertise and technological strengths. Through the Specialized Committee on E-Commerce, we aim to mobilize global expertise, build consensus, share best practices, foster international cooperation, and work together toward sustainable, high-quality growth in cross-border e-commerce.
