

Based on over 10,000 validated survey responses and in-depth studies of AI creative teams, open-source communities have emerged as the premier arena for global AI technology diffusion, application incubation, and safety governance. This report identifies three critical transitions: first, from open source to open resource, as One-Person Companies and super individuals reshape the fundamental unit of innovation; second, from adoption to core contribution, as China's open-source community goes Born Global; third, from technology dividends to intelligent well-being, as technology for social good evolves from aspirational ideal to scalable reality. When open source becomes infrastructure, the flywheel effect accelerates.
