HK forum to highlight new drivers of digital finance
The Digital Finance Forum of the 2026 World Internet Conference (WIC) Asia-Pacific Summit will be held on April 14 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Jointly hosted by the WIC and Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd., the forum is themed on “Digital Intelligence Empowers New Momentum in Finance” and will bring together senior representatives from government departments, industry institutions, businesses and academia worldwide.
They will explore how digital technologies are reshaping the financial ecosystem, accelerating the integration of finance and technology and unlocking the potential of digital finance to better serve the real economy, injecting sustained momentum into high-quality global economic growth.
Its keynote session will see leading figures from across sectors share insights and real-world experiences from the frontlines of digital transformation. Their speeches will span the intelligent evolution of risk management, upgrades in technological architecture and deeper integration across business scenarios — offering a forward-looking view of key trends that are shaping digital finance.
The forum will also feature the release of major research findings and the launch of cooperative initiatives, showcasing the latest advances in digital finance and offering valuable insights for global innovation and governance.
The 2026 WIC Asia-Pacific Summit will take place from April 13 to 14 in Hong Kong.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
