Sun Dong: HK to drive future industries with AI+ strategy
Sun Dong, secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of Hong Kong SAR, said on March 17 that Hong Kong is stepping up its efforts to develop AI as a core industry. Measures including establishing an AI+ and Industrial Development Strategy Committee, launching a major innovation fund and building a data park would support AI growth and industrial transformation in the region, Sun noted.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
