The 2026 WIC Asia-Pacific Summit, under the theme “Digital and Intelligent Empowerment for Innovative Development — Jointly Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace,” will be held on April 13-14 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, WIC General-Secretary Ren Xianliang announced at a press briefing. 

Participants will gather to engage in in-depth exchanges and promote practical cooperation — creating new drivers for the development of the Asia-Pacific region. 

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
