2025 WIC Distinguished Contribution Award

Innovation Breakthrough award-winning enterprise: DAS-Security

From the very first World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit to the present day, DAS-Security has provided 11 consecutive years of zero-incident cybersecurity protection for the event.

Right now, the company is once again setting new industry directions — this time by advancing the integration of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Tech breakthroughs: Three generational leaps with large Hengnao security model

Guided by an AI-driven innovation strategy, DAS-Security has established a comprehensive technology evolution path — from a domain-specific security foundation model to a multimodal intelligent agent platform.

In 2023, DAS-Security launched Hengnao, a security-specific large model deeply optimized for the cybersecurity domain — providing professional and efficient security protection support through its intelligent assistant, Xiao Heng Zhi Liao.

In 2024, the company unveiled Hengnao 2.0, a security agent platform, followed by the release of the Hengnao Security Agent Development Platform at the World Internet Conference, enabling the creation of agents through zero-code and low-code capabilities.

In May 2025, Hengnao 3.0 was introduced — a multimodal, universally connected and highly interactive multi-agent collaborative system.

It focuses on enhancing the perception and execution capabilities of AI agents — allowing them to accurately follow instructions, complete tasks efficiently and fully take over security operations in specific scenarios.

For 17 consecutive years, DAS-Security has invested 25 to 30 percent of its annual revenue in research and development. To date, the company has filed 3,049 patent applications, including 1,201 authorized invention patents. Moreover, it's participated in the formulation of 61 national standards — building a strong and defensible technological foundation.

Proven in practice: Zero-incident protection for major international events

Technological innovation must be validated in real-world scenarios. During the 2023 World University Games in Chengdu and the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2023, Hengnao 1.0 analyzed more than 80 billion security logs and blocked 26 million attacks — improving operational efficiency and threat detection capabilities by 230 percent and 200 percent, respectively.

At the Asian Winter Games Harbin 2025, Hengnao 2.0 deployed a 7+3 intelligent agent cluster, intercepting 1.8 million attacks over 168 hours.

Automated analysis covered 98 percent of alerts, the response time was reduced to under three minutes and 90 percent of security processes were automated — far surpassing the speed and efficiency of previous manual approaches.

Most recently, the world's first AI-powered digital employee for security services was unveiled. At the Fourth Global Digital Trade Expo, this system intercepted more than 100,000 cross-border attacks through a human-machine collaboration model, improving efficiency in core tasks by 90 percent and demonstrating the international competitiveness of China's cybersecurity solutions.

Data infrastructure: Building a trusted ecosystem for data circulation

In the field of data elements, DAS-Security has independently developed products such as Data Router and Data Space to address bottlenecks in data circulation.

Centered on trusted identity and privacy-preserving computation, Data Router resolves challenges in multi-party data supply, demand and utilization. Data Space adopts a 1+1+N trusted data space architecture to ensure secure and controllable data flows.

DAS-Security is now deeply involved in the construction of data spaces across multiple regions. As one of the first technology providers for the Hangzhou Data Exchange, the company has deployed hundreds of Data Routers to support cross-regional data interconnection and interoperability.

Ecosystem building: From tech leadership to industry empowerment

Beyond its own technological breakthroughs, DAS-Security actively promotes industry-wide progress. The company has participated in the establishment of the World Internet Conference Digital Academy, transforming security technology achievements into practical talent development courses.

It has also hosted the West Lake Cybersecurity Conference for 13 consecutive years, building one of China's most influential platforms for cybersecurity exchanges.

Using Hong Kong as a strategic hub, DAS-Security is expanding into Southeast Asian markets, providing cybersecurity support for Chinese enterprises going global. To date, Hengnao has been deployed across more than 10 industries and nearly 100 organizations, with over 500 security intelligent agents created.

These solutions now cover 80 percent of major protection scenarios and 90 percent of routine operations — helping businesses to reduce costs by more than 50 percent, while accelerating response times from hours to seconds.

The WIC Distinguished Contribution Award not only recognizes past achievements, but also reflects expectations for future innovation.

Fan Yuan, chairman of DAS-Security, said the group would continue to deepen the integration of AI and security technologies — contributing more Chinese wisdom and solutions to the building of a community with a shared future in cyberspace.

In 2024, the World Internet Conference established the WIC Distinguished Contribution Award to recognize individuals and enterprises that have made outstanding contributions in global internet-related fields.

To date, 12 leading figures and 26 well-known business enterprises from around the world have received the award.

For enterprises, the award features three categories — Social Contribution, Innovation Breakthrough, and Growth Potential.

The awarded companies span a wide range of sectors — including internet platforms, mobile communications, artificial intelligence, chip designs, energy and power and cybersecurity.

Together, they depict a diverse and thriving internet ecosystem, encouraging more outstanding enterprises to engage in the development of the internet and to jointly explore the limitless possibilities of the digital future.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
