On April 15, the WIC Digital Academy Cybersecurity Emergency Response Advanced Training Program (hereinafter referred to as Program) officially launched under the theme "AI for Good, Coordinated Responses". The program brought together senior experts from leading cybersecurity institutions and firms from both China and abroad to form a distinguished teaching team. Together, they guided senior government and enterprise representatives from across Asia through intensive training and discussions. Topics covered included cybersecurity awareness enhancement, frameworks for AI safety governance, new paradigms in cybersecurity for the digital intelligent era, security and intelligence integration, AI-powered offensive and defensive simulations, GenAI applications for cybersecurity, and practical insights into cybersecurity empowered by AI strategy.
Based on responses to a cybersecurity survey before the program, the WIC Digital Academy has worked closely with the teaching team to tailor the curriculum to address common challenges and key concerns shared by Asian countries and regions. Participants engaged in proactive, solution-oriented exchanges with instructors, sharing local challenges and urgent cybersecurity needs. Many praised the training for its depth and forward-looking perspective, calling it highly professional and thought-provoking. They noted that it offered new directions and pathways for advancing cybersecurity collaboration.
Looking ahead, WIC will continue to uphold the principle of maintaining cybersecurity and promoting orderly development. More training programs are planned to strengthen the front line of cyber defense in the intelligent era. The WIC Digital Academy, together with its partners and a broad network of experts and scholars, remains committed to exploring innovative approaches to technological empowerment and collaborative governance—especially with developing countries—while enhancing global cyber threat response capabilities, building a more influential cybersecurity exchange platform, and creating a safer, more stable, and prosperous cyberspace.
