WIC highlights key reports to be released at upcoming Asia-Pacific Summit
At the press briefing for the upcoming World Internet Conference Asia-Pacific Summit, Ren Xianliang, secretary-general of the WIC, introduced key reports to be released at the summit. The WIC Specialized Committee on Artificial Intelligence will release a report titled Intelligence Governance for Good and for All—Empowering Global Sustainable Development, which provides insights into accelerating AI-powered sustainable development.
In addition, the Data Working Group will publish Comparative Study on Cross-Border Global Data Flow Policies, analyzing global trends in data flow policies and offering recommendations.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
