To encourage active international exchanges and cooperation in cyberspace and to advance the vision of building a community with a shared future in cyberspace, the World Internet Conference (WIC) annually invites global stakeholders to submit outstanding achievements and innovative practices that reflect this vision. Each year, approximately 12 Outstanding Cases are selected by a global panel of authoritative experts and released at the WIC Wuzhen Summit, while around 60 cases are included in the annual Case Collection.

2025 Briefing on Practice Cases(Beijing)

Submission Requirements
Timeframe: Projects initiated or ongoing after 2015.
Scope: Must involve collaboration across at least two countries or regions.

Phase 1: Global Call for Submissions

Submit bilingual (Chinese-English) materials via the online portal.
Phase 2: Expert Review
July 2025
A panel of authoritative global experts will evaluate and select approximately 60 cases for inclusion in the Case Collection, of which around 12 will be recognized as Outstanding Cases.
Phase 3: Preparation for ReleaseAugust 2025 – Before the Wuzhen Summit
Work with professional teams to prepare for on-site presentations at the Wuzhen Summit.
Phase 4: Global Announcement2025 WIC Wuzhen Summit
Outstanding Cases will be officially released during the Wuzhen Summit and broadcast via global live stream.

It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
