This event aims to amplify women's voices and foster broader societal support for their digital empowerment.

Wang Xiaojing

General Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Ant Group and the Secretary-General of the Ant Foundation

Ms. Xiaojing Wang is the General Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility at Ant Group and the Secretary-General of the Ant Foundation. Previously, she oversaw branding initiatives across multiple departments, including philanthropy and technology, as the General Manager of the Brand Department at Ant Group. Ms. Wang spearheaded the establishment of Ant Group's CSR department and developed innovative campaigns like Ant Forest. She initiated the "Wind Rider" program to support rural girls' football teams, launched the "Cyber Mulan" program to empower rural women, and the "Blue Vest" initiative to assist the elderly through digital means.

Lu Haina

Member of the UN Working Group on discrimination against women and girls, Professor at the Renmin University of China Law School.

Professor Lu Haina was appointed by the President of the 54th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in October 2023 as member of the UN Working Group on discrimination against women and girls under the Special Procedures of the Human Rights Council. She is currently the only Chinese national among the 83 independent experts in the Special Procedures and only the second Chinese expert successfully elected since the mechanism was established in 1967.

In 2021, she published the monograph Big Data, AI and Women's Rights to Work, the first book in China to examine artificial intelligence from the perspectives of gender and law. The book was selected as one of the Top 10 "Rose Bookshelf" Recommendations for Female Workers by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in 2024. She has also contributed to the formulation of the China National Program for Women's Development (2021–2030) and the China National Program for Children’s Development (2021–2030).

Liu Shimin

Project Specialist 

Research Fellow, Institute of Enterprise and Strategy, University of International Business and Economics

Liu Shimin specializes in women’s leadership and corporate social responsibility in Chinese enterprises. She is a core researcher in UIBE's research on China’s economic cooperation with Belt and Road countries and has given lectures on female entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship leadership in the digital era.

Bu Wei

Research Fellow at the Institute of Journalism and Communication, Board Member of Chinese Women’s Research Society 

Professor Bu Wei, an expert with special allowance from the State Council, is a leading figure in the field of media literacy research in China. She has authored the monograph Women and Media—Blue Book Series on Women's Development in China and published reports such as Research Report on Digital Literacy Building for Rural Women: A Case Study of the "Cyber Mulan" Homestay Manager Training Program and "Digital Empowerment" Shaping Rural Changemakers — A Study on the "Women Up" Project by the China Social Entrepreneur Foundation. She has also been invited to participate in United Nations initiatives advocating for children's digital rights.

Jiao Meng

Deputy Director of China Development Gateway, China Internet Information Center

Ms. Jiao Meng has over a decade of extensive experience in international communications. She spearheaded and contributed to the development of 2024 Sci-Tech Empowering Rural Transformation:HER Power, HER Stories report. As an expert reviewer, she has participated in a series of institutionalized multilateral forums, including the China Poverty Reduction International Forum and the Global Poverty Reduction Partnership Workshop, co-hosted by China.org.cn, the World Bank, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the United Nations World Food Programme, and the Asian Development Bank. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in facilitating the launch of the China-World Food Programme South-South Cooperation Knowledge Sharing Platform on the United Nations World Food Programme's platform.

Zhang Yue

Media Practitioner

Zhang Yue, former CCTV host known for programs such as "Half the Sky," "Music Life," and "Night Line." She was named an "Outstanding Announcer and Host" in 2006 and served as a charity ambassador for CCTV's Charity Night in 2016. On December 18, 2024, "Her Room," a documentary program focused on women, premiered, once again turning its attention to women who have always worked hard and are full of hope.
