CCTV, SMC, Sichuan New Media Group, MSXF.com, Yiren Digital, Cathay Insurance to join WIC as new corporate members

The sixth meeting of the first Council of the World Internet Conference (WIC) adopted the List of New WIC Members, seeing more members join the WIC organization.

Here is the introduction of new corporate members of the WIC:

CCTV International Network Company Limited 

Established in 2006, CCTV International Network Company Limited is a key news website hosted by the Central Radio and Television Station and serves as a national comprehensive internet video communication service platform in China. Focusing on news, government services, and business services, CCTV International is dedicated to being an audio-visual service provider that enhances people's lives and supports economic and social development. With a strong foundation in news and video content, CCTV International integrates thought, art, and technology to build a unique online media presence, earning prestigious awards such as the China News Award for its works.

Shaanxi Radio and Television Convergence Media Group (Station) 

Founded in 2020, Shaanxi Radio and Television Convergence Media Group is a large-scale cultural media enterprise concentrating on new media. With a Qidian Center that considers the transmission characteristics of both PC and client sides, the Group has established a communication matrix with "Qidian News" as the flagship. It has also set up the Silk Road Super Media MCN, creating an open live broadcast matrix with the Silk Road and Belt and Road as its characteristics. Focusing on the development trends of technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Group has established a technology research institute, aiming to become an influential technology R&D institution in the field of audio-visual applications in China.
