Building international consensus and unlocking the value of data are critical for bridging development gaps and fostering inclusive and sustainable global development.
Leveraging the expertise of its data working group and extensive research among member enterprises, the World Internet Conference has produced the report on Promoting Open, Collaborative and Mutually Beneficial Global Data Cooperation, incorporating input from all working group members and industry experts.
The report addresses the significance and components of global data cooperation, identifies multiple challenges in areas such as global data rules and technology standards, and proposes four principles and four action initiatives to promote global data cooperation.

It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
