Ern Chern Khor
(Malaysia)

Ern Chern Khor is currently pursuing a PhD in science and technology policy at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, where she focuses on how to help groups such as the elderly and women use the Internet through the development of better policies. She specializes in innovative methods such as machine learning and has co-authored the United Nations Asian and Pacific Training Centre for Information and Communication Technology for Development (APCICT) study on ICT for ageing. She has extensive experience in international collaborations and academic exchanges and is fluent in Chinese, Malay, Korean and English.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
