Rajan Parajuli
(Nepal)

Rajan Parajuli is currently the Executive Director of the Nepal Research and Education Network (NREN) and a board member of the Nepal Telemedicine Association, and has more than 15 years of experience working in the areas of management and operation of research and education networks, and ICT development programs. During his doctoral studies, he focused on telemedicine applications in rural Nepal, especially the use of telemedicine technology to increase women's access to healthcare, and has published dozens of articles in academic journals. In addition to playing a key role in NREN, Rajan is also actively involved in APAN (Asia-Pacific Advanced Network) related activities for research and collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
