With the global advancement of digital technologies, cross-border e-commerce has become a crucial driver for promoting international trade and global economic development. As an emerging international organization in the digital field, the World Internet Conference (WIC) established the WIC Working Group on Cross-Border E-commerce in June 2023 and released the Report on Developments of International Normative Systems on Cross-Border E-commerce during the 2023 WIC Wuzhen Summit.
To better promote the development of cross-border e-commerce, the WIC Working Group on Cross-Border E-commerce is inviting government agencies, enterprises, and other entities to submit cases focusing on the fields as follows:
● Measures to facilitate cross-border e-commerce
● Innovation in governance and rules of cross-border e-commerce
● Innovative development of cross-border e-commerce platforms
● Innovative products and services
● Social values of cross-border e-commerce entities
This aims to create a platform for sharing practice cases in cross-border e-commerce, promoting exchange and sharing, and providing practical experience for the innovative development and international expansion of the cross-border e-commerce players.
We sincerely invite all parties to actively participate in this solicitation, and to share your practical explorations and initiatives in the field of cross-border e-commerce based on your business area, technological characteristics, as well as experience and advantages.
We hope that with the efforts of the working group, we can gather global resources and consolidate development consensus, to jointly advance the sustainable and high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce in the digital era.
