The World Internet Conference (WIC) and the National Library of China co-hosted the "Journey into Outstanding Cases - Journey into the National Library of China" event in Beijing on Jan 17. The event, which gathered nearly 60 participants, aimed to decode how digital technology empowers cultural heritage and fosters cultural exchange and mutual learning.
Ren Xianliang, secretary-general of the WIC, delivered a speech at the event, emphasizing the significance of leveraging digital tools to preserve and promote cultural legacies.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
