A delegation of honorees of the 2023 World Internet Conference (WIC) Global Youth Leadership Program learned about digital development in East China's Zhejiang province during a visit to Wuzhen, Anji and Hangzhou from Nov 10 to 11.
The delegation members, the first group of Global Youth Leaders under the program, come from China and seven other countries. Prior to the visit, the youth leaders participated in the 2023 WIC Wuzhen Summit. During the trip, they were wowed by digital development in Zhejiang and gained a deeper understanding of China's Internet development.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
