The World Internet Conference Organization held a press conference in Beijing on Oct 20 to brief the media on the 2023 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit, which will be held from Nov 8 to 10 in Wuzhen, East China’s Zhejiang province.
Themed on “Creating an Inclusive and Resilient Digital World Beneficial to All - Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace”, the 2023 WIC Wuzhen Summit will hold 20 sub-forums on a wide range of topics.
New features will be added to this year’s summit as it marks its 10-year milestone. They include presentation of the Wuzhen Summit 10-Year Commemorative Honor, launch of the Global Youth Leadership Program and debut of the World Internet Science and Technology Museum in Wuzhen. A WIC council and Member Representative Symposium will be also be held on the sidelines of the summit.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
