On August 10, the WIC launched the Global Youth Leadership Program (GYLP).

The program is created by the WIC as a brand for its regular activities. It aims to regularly select outstanding youth leaders in the global Internet field to closely follow the frontier trends of the Internet technology, industry and governance.

It plans to conduct a series of activities including training, forum, dialogue and research and build an international exchange and cooperation platform for the youth to learn from each other.

During the Wuzhen Summit, the selected candidates will also have the opportunity to have in-depth exchanges with the senior management of the WIC, high-level representatives from other international organizations, governments, leading global Internet enterprises, and famous experts and scholars.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
