Global Youth Leadership Program

Since the announcement of calls for the first batch of youth representatives for the Global Youth Leadership Program of the World Internet Conference, it has attracted attention from all over the world. International organizations, leading Internet enterprises, prestigious universities and top experts and scholars have all recommended candidates and we have received applications from nearly 40 countries and regions, including China, South Korea, India, Netherlands, Russia, United Kingdom, Germany, United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria.

The year 2023 marks the 10th year of the WIC Wuzhen Summit. The WIC Wuzhen Summit will see its GYLP youth representatives attend important occasions, and will establish the Youth and Digital Future Sub-forum. The forum will provide a platform for outstanding youth worldwide in the Internet field to show their talents and voices.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
