The main session of the World Internet Conference (WIC) Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization took place in Nishan, Qufu, East China's Shandong province, on Monday.
During the session, John Hoffman, CEO of GSMA, said that "AI will have a profound impact on our societies, changing the way we interact with the world around us, enabling businesses to boost their productivity, and helping governments and public agencies to solve some of the most pressing global challenges of our time."
The topic for the main session is "Building a Secure and Trusted AI".
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
