Wang Jian: Enabling 'AI+ Agriculture' through 5G and automation
The main session of the World Internet Conference (WIC) Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization was held in Nishan, Qufu, East China's Shandong province, on June 26.
During the session, Wang Jian, senior vice-president of Shanghai Xunmeng Information Technology Co Ltd (Pinduoduo), said "based on the needs of qualified standardization of agricultural products and combined with the popularization of 5G and autonomous technology, the 'AI plus agriculture' model has become feasible."
"Digital technology can effectively promote agriculture, and smart agriculture will embrace a promising future," Wang added.
The topic for the main session is "Building a Secure and Trusted AI".
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
