The 2022 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit successfully concluded on Nov 11 in Wuzhen, East China's Zhejiang province.

Li Junhua, Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations, delivered a speech via video link at the 2022 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit.

"The United Nations attaches the priority to the digital technologies and the internet in building a prosperous, inclusive and shared future with no one left behind", said Li.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
