Introduction:
Themed with "Promoting International Media Cooperation in Global Anti-pandemic Efforts", the forum will invite government officials, media representatives, anti-pandemic experts, communication scholars, Internet business executives and online celebrities from home and abroad to discuss how to strengthen cooperation in international communication amid the global fight against COVID-19, so as to let science and reason prevail, stand by justice and equity, and build a broad consensus to pull together forces from around the world to triumph over the pandemic.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
