The 2021 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit, co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of China and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, is scheduled to take place from Sept 26 to 28, 2021.
With the theme of "Towards a New Era of Digital Civilization - Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace", the Conference invites representatives from domestic and foreign governments, international organizations, industry associations, global leading enterprises, high-end think tanks, universities and research institutes to participate in an online & offline manner to contribute insights to building a community with a shared future in cyberspace.
The 2021 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit will open an Online Conference Video System for the first time to extend virtual engagement. The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
