Beijing center opens platform for scaling up humanoid robots
The Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics opens a pilot manufacturing and validation platform on Thursday. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
The platform is equipped with around 500 sets of production and testing equipment and has an annual pilot production capacity of up to 5,000 humanoid robots, according to the center. It plans to build on the platform by undertaking national research and development projects, strengthening its capabilities, and working with industry partners to support core technology breakthroughs, product maturation, and large-scale deployment.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
