Lavan Lynden Gardiner JR: Young people should have a voice in the changing digital space
Lavan Lynden Gardiner JR, a 2025 World Internet Conference Global Youth Leader from Bahamas, said he believes that young people must have a seat at the table in shaping the fast-changing digital world. In his view, the WIC is a valuable platform that empowers youth to engage, create, and contribute to the digital transformation. He calls on youth to embrace change and help build an inclusive digital future.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
