At the 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC), Christine Nessim, an economist from the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, shared her insights as one of the 2025 WIC Youth Leaders.

Christine joined the Global Youth Leadership Program (GYLP) out of a deep interest in how digital transformation is reshaping future economies. Representing Egypt, she values the chance to exchange ideas with fellow youth leaders from around the world and explore new possibilities for cooperation in technology and innovation.

Christine also highlighted the WIC as an important platform that amplifies youth voices, enabling them to connect with policymakers and innovators to turn ideas into tangible opportunities.

Her reflections embody the spirit of a new generation of global leaders — open, collaborative, and committed to building a more inclusive future of digital intelligence.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
