At the 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit, Huy Anh Nguyen, a media and technology policy researcher from Vietnam, shared his insights on the role of youth in shaping the future of the internet.

Nguyen said that the WIC provides a valuable platform for young leaders to exchange ideas and explore global issues from diverse perspectives. Representing Vietnam and other developing countries, he emphasized the voices from the Global South should play a more active role in international digital policy-making.

Currently conducting research on AI and semiconductor policy, Nguyen expressed the hope that his proposals will contribute to future policy frameworks. He said he believes the WIC serves as a bridge connecting nations and ideas, empowering young innovators to contribute to building a more inclusive and shared digital future.
