Iluvatar CoreX has won the World Internet Conference (WIC) Distinguished Contribution Award in the growth potential category at the 2025 WIC Wuzhen Summit, recognizing its pivotal role in China’s general-purpose graphics processing unit (GPU) sector.

Iluvatar CoreX, which designed and launched the nation’s first general-purpose GPU, has grown into a leading enterprise in the field over the past seven years. 

The company chairman stated that this accolade recognized not only its sustained efforts and past accomplishments, but also validated its strategic commitment to an independent domestic GPU development path.

Furthermore, he expressed hope that this recognition would attract increased talent and capital investment to the sector, contributing to the sustainable development of the entire digital industry.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
