
China Mobile Research Institute (CMRI) received the Distinguished Contribution Award at the 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit. The CMRI said it is an honor to be recognized on such a prestigious international platform, noting that the award affirms its efforts to advance technological innovation and the global development of information and communications. The institute stated that it has made remarkable progress in development under the guidance of China’s national strategy to achieve self-reliance and strength in science and technology.
The CMRI said it has consistently valued and actively participated in the WIC and expressed the hope that the conference will continue to showcase and promote innovative achievements and help enterprises advance global connectivity and digital innovation.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
