Giannina Honorio Heredia: Leveraging internet as a tool to benefit all
2025 World Internet Conference Global Youth Leader Giannina Honorio Heredia from Peru is an engineer, a neuroscientist and the founder of IncluEdu. She has founded four tech-driven companies that focus respectively on education, health, inclusiveness, and environmental sustainability.
"My mission is simple but ambitious: to put technology at the service of society," she said. She emphasizes that young people are the builders of the digital era and should take on the responsibility of leading innovation, striving to ensure that the fruits of digitalization serve all humankind.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
