João Pedro Novochadlo: Building inclusive digital future with assistive technology
2025 World Internet Conference Global Youth Leader João Pedro Novochadlo is a Brazilian creative technologist and social entrepreneur dedicated to serving those often left behind. He founded Weaver, an award-winning assistive technology startup that enables blind individuals to navigate public spaces through contextual voice guidance. Deployed at major venues, this innovation makes public environments more inclusive.
Novochadlo believes in creating digital architectures shaped by ethics, collaboration, and global diversity. Joining the Global Youth Leadership Program, he aims to contribute to a more equitable and human-centered digital future for all.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
