HK student highlights youth leadership in digital era
Rachel Lo, a 2025 World Internet Conference Global Youth Leader from China's Hong Kong, is a law master's student at BPP University in the UK. Passionate about integrating the digital world with the humanities, she once used artificial intelligence to predict 5th-century Greek inscriptions. She emphasized the importance of recognizing young people as leaders rather than mere participants in the digital era.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
