At the 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC) Cultural Heritage Digitalization Forum held in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, Meng Yaoyue, deputy general manager of Xiying Group, emphasized the power of combining film technology with digital innovation in reviving cultural heritage. "Exchanges between countries are truly necessary," she noted, highlighting China's leading role in the current wave of digitalization. According to Meng, the greatest advantage of digitalization is its ability to "bring silent relics to life," offering immersive experiences that connect global audiences to ancient civilizations.

As cultural institutions worldwide explore digitization, China's integration of technology and storytelling provides a compelling model for preserving and revitalizing humanity's shared heritage.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
