The AI for Health (AI4H) Symposium, hosted by the World Internet Conference Specialized Committee on Artificial Intelligence, was held in Beijing on May 17. 

The event brought together representatives from healthcare regulatory authorities, international organizations, diplomatic missions in China, medical institutions, research institutes, and smart healthcare enterprises. 

With a focus on innovation and collaboration in digital healthcare, participants shared insights on how artificial intelligence in reshaping healthcare systems, from smart diagnostics and digital infrastructure to AI-enabled clinical applications. 

The symposium underscored the importance of inclusive, technology-driven solutions to improve global health outcomes.

As digital transformation accelerates in the medical field, the AI4H Symposium serves as a platform to promote intelligent, efficient and equitable development in healthcare.

The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
