WIC·MIC Salon | Amplifying women's voices in the digital era

A total of 6,600 homestay managers revitalizing villages, 21,000 women in rural areas embracing new employment opportunities, 5.5 million free insurance policies for basic social security, and the "One Billion Yuan in 10 Years" initiative supporting development of Chinese women's football—these remarkable achievements stem from the Cyber Mulan initiative, a program launched by Ant Group to empower women in technology and entrepreneurship. The Ant Group is a member of the World Internet Conference (WIC).

As International Women's Day approaches, the WIC•MIC Salon will convene experts from UN Women and the Chinese Women's Research Society, senior media professionals, and other distinguished guests to explore how digital technology empowers women's development. Hosted by the WIC Digital Academy in collaboration with Ant Group's Cyber Mulan team, the event will showcase inspiring stories of women thriving in the digital era.
