Ren Xianliang, secretary-general of the World Internet Conference (WIC), met with Ye Xiaowei, senior vice-president of Qualcomm, in Beijing on July 14.
Ren welcomed the Qualcomm team’s visit and thanked them for their contributions as a senior member to the development of the WIC. Ren said that the WIC is committed to building a global platform for Internet collaboration and shared development, continuously creating more opportunities for communication and cooperation among its members and providing more diverse and targeted services.
He invited Qualcomm to attend activities related to the 10th year of Wuzhen Summit to be held in Tongxiang, East China’s Zhejiang province, in the second half of 2023, and looked forward to further strengthening communication and cooperation with Qualcomm in the future.
Ye thanked the WIC for their long-term support and assistance to Qualcomm, saying that Qualcomm is willing to leverage their advantages to strengthen communication and cooperation with the WIC in fulfilling social responsibilities, organizing thematic activities and cultivation of talent in Internet-related fields.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
