A summit forum of the 2023 Global Digital Economy Conference will be held in Lhasa, Tibet autonomous region, from July 4 to 7, the city government announced on Friday.
Themed "Data bridge spans the Himalayas", the forum will be hosted by Lhasa and co-hosted by its Gaoxin district. It will be simultaneously held in Beijing.

"The activities of the summit forum include an opening ceremony, seven special forums, a digital economy experience week and a specialized investment promotion conference on the digital economy," Zhao said.
The city government has attached great importance to the summit, he added. Last year, the digital economy output of Lhasa hit 5.56 billion yuan ($767 million), an increase of 2.1 percent year-on-year.
